New Challenge

Faced with a new challenge, I resolve to strictly follow the necessary precautions in order not to attract attention while under the watchful eyes of those who are in a different playing field. We need to be positive that this preventive measure will have a positive effect and keep the spotlight at bay.

Opportunity

I was able to tell my team these three things: 1. I'm Sorry ☹ 2. Thank You ☺ and 3. I L♥ve Team Kat. The team building was a blast. Too bad half of the team cannot stay up late. Nonetheless, it was the beginning of a better relationship among us. As we always say..."Competitive eh!" (ala Kat)

10 Random Thoughts

1. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. Similarly, you can never change the bad habits of a grown up.

2. Is it just me or is the world getting meaner by the day?

3. Something I learned from the facilitator of one of the workshops at work that I started attending: it is Task Management over Time Management. You can never manage time. It will move forward and will not wait for you. So in order to become an effective leader, manage the tasks that you do.

4. A brother-from-another-mother will soon be leaving for Belgium to work. What's bad is I cannot attend his despedida tonight all because my dad is already there and I'd rather not be at the same party with him.

5. Stop obsessing about something that is not happening.

6. Another important point taken from the workshop: The basis of influence is your relationship with others.

7. I wish the days would fly by so that it's June 15 already.

8. Mama has always been my model of patience. I wish that it was an inheritable trait so I don't have to struggle in practicing it.

9. I am thankful to have found my One True Great Love. (Thank you Lord for making it happen!)

10. A fresh start is about to happen... ^^;

45 & 10

I have come to believe in this phrase whenever faced with trials:

"This too shall pass."

I am now in a better disposition for we managed to surpass a very challenging 9th month, celebrated our 10th and today, our 45th week.

Thank you for holding on...

Observations

*Neophyte blogger's note: I guess this is how it is for new bloods like me here in the world of blog. Each entry is a baby step towards writing more elaborate thoughts.

I got my prayers answered when I started my day. Thank you Lord for the speedy response. >",<

I am learning more about content and appreciation.

More importantly, I have to create my own happiness and not depend on others for it.

Last once...the jeepney I rode going home smelled entirely like a septic tank. Ugh!

Limbo

Ending my day with this kind of feeling is unusual for me.

10 months and 1 day ago, the purpose of my life became clearer to me...until somewhere along the way, there came a disturbance.

With whatever emotions that take hold of me, I make sure to acknowledge it and follow my 24-hour rule.

Why 24 hours?

Because that is just enough time for me to celebrate, savor and enjoy the feeling-of-the-moment.

After that, it's back to reality.

Anything more than 24 hours will cause me to overlook the more important blessings that will have come.

I pray to wake up to a morning with a clearer sense of what matters.

Modifications

I'll keep this short and sweet.

I have been doing several adjustments to the settings of my blog page. Well, lots of it.

Turns out, it's not just about writing my thoughts. I also need to make sure it's reader-friendly.

Tough job. But all worth it. (^^)

This is it!

Finally, I have managed to make this project a reality. :)

So for my first entry, I would like to thank someone who served as an inspiration in realizing this long-time dream of starting my own blog - Mark Joe, the last innocent man.

Mark Joe, your Anonymous Fan has now mustered enough confidence to put my thoughts into writing... c",)
